Phoebe Fox: Capturing Moments & Fan Memories

The music industry is full of incredible and hard-working women, doing the absolute best work that keeps the ball(s) rolling. But how much recognition and credit do they actually get? No matter if it’s marketing, A&R, artist management or tour photography, there is still not enough female representation. But those we do know, love and cherish are setting a great example for a more female and better future in this industry. Yet, when we think of tour photographers there are only a few we as fans recognize and get excited to see at shows. So let me introduce you to Phoebe Fox.

Phoebe is mostly known as a music and touring photographer, traveling the world with artists and covering their live shows. What an easy and enviable job you might think, but do you speak from professional experience? Probably not. Being in charge of capturing the right moments from the artist’s performance on stage and special fan moments to shooting additional content before and after the show, is everything but easy. Once a moment passed, you missed your shot. It takes a lot of focus and practice to perfect that skill to the point where you are the photographer every artist wants to take on tour. And Phoebe is one of those.

From a very young age, she knew she wanted to work in that field and hard work and determination surely helped her become the successful and respected young woman she is. Through shooting artists like Anne Marie, Madison Beer and Mimi Webb on tour, fans got a glimpse of not only her remarkable talent behind the camera, but her sweet and very kind personality. When Phoebe needs to squeeze herself into the crowd to capture moments, we don’t mind and – when you see the results of her work – you wouldn’t either.

We all love our favorite artists and we get excited over all the shots from tour that we casually repost as a throwback while impatiently waiting for the next tour to be announced. And if you are lucky, Phoebe will be there capturing fan moments outside the venue, taking the best shots during the show and you can be sure that she will deliver the most amazing tour documentary you have ever seen. Let’s keep an eye on the future of the music industry and the female icons leading by example, being the sly as a fox gender we are.
