Time To Expand Your Female Catalog

As this magazine is all about female empowerment and we do our best to shine a light on incredible women we know and love, there are so many out there you might have never heard of, until today. Not because they are less relevant, quite the opposite. You just simply can’t know everyone in every industry, but we do come across a lot of phenomenal women along the way. And while you share your favorites with those around you, we are here to highlight for you.

Stevie Doré

Stevie is one of those rough diamonds in the dance world you have to know. She has appeared in music videos like “Million Dollar Baby” by Ava Max or “Watch” by Billie Eilish and has toured with female icons like Selena Gomez and Tate McRae. I was fortunate enough to see her perform on tour with Tate as well as the MTV EMAS in 2022 and she absolutely killed it.

While you might think that someone with a successful career like hers – performing with the best of the best – could have grown an attitude, she is quite the opposite. Stevie is very sweet, kind and extremely humble when you meet her in person. Her talent is beyond and her career will continue to skyrocket the way it should.

Maryon King

You know these incredible voices that end up on your TikTok For You Page? She is one that came up on mine. Maryon is an upcoming artist currently based in LA you should have on your radar. Her sound is unique and listening to her lyrics you can sense the honesty between the lines. Getting to chat with her for my podcast, I got to know an artist with big dreams and a strong will and belief to work towards turning them into reality.

Born in Moldova, raised in Italy and musically educated in the UK, Maryon has seen a lot and each place has surely influenced the amazing woman she is today. As tough as it can be for female artists in the music industry, she is a hustler with an exceptional talent who has a lot more stories to share. Maryon is one of a kind and who knows, you might catch her supporting your favorite artist some day.

Emily Curl

“It’s your girl, Emily Curl” is a catch phrase I have heard many times over the years. If this is your first time hearing it, where have you been? Emily is mostly known as an entertainment host and red carpet correspondent for iHeart radio and is most certainly one of media’s finest. No matter if it’s artist exclusives, red carpet chats or the famous fan vs. artist trivia game, she does it all with such authenticity & professionalism.

Making it as a woman in any industry isn’t easy, but especially in media and entertainment you have to work even harder to be a trusted, respected and important part of the industry. With all Emily does, she is not only showing how good she is at her job, but is inspiring all women out there who need a living example of a female success story to write their own.

There are so many more outstanding female forces across all industries. If you come across someone who inspires you, let them know and share their impact with a friend. A few empowering words can go such a long way and what is easily written, can make someone’s whole day. Not everyone might feel seen, appreciated or supported enough which is why it matters even more to speak up and remind these beautiful women that their light is brightening up someone else’s life.
