Do you remember your very first time logging into Instagram? When was it? 2013? 2012? Or maybe even earlier? It was a place where everyone would share their funny pics of literally everything, without thinking how many likes it would get. But over a very short time it grew into a place where you suddenly follow people from other countries because you both share passion for certain things and you just naturally enjoy watching other people living their lives that might be completely different to yours. Some of these bloggers are good, a few are great, but only a selected few were so on point that they’ve turned their blogging persona into a brand and have launched successful fashion careers.
Of course, building yourself into a brand isn’t something that happens over night. It requires a lot of hard work and dedication. The bloggers that we love made it happen by developing a unique voice and creating truly engaging content tailored to their audience, and growing an extensive community on social networks that helped to further drive their website traffic. Simply put, they had enough people interested in what they had to say to establish them as authorities in their field.
The first blogger that comes to my mind when we’re talking about the ones who simply kept doing what they were doing and made it big is Chiara Ferragni aka The Blonde Salad. She started a blog where she posted her outfits, travels and thoughts and as for now passed over 25 Million followers on Instagram. Her fashion brand Chiara Ferragni Collection is highly beloved by other bloggers and celebrities and is being sold by over 300 retailers worldwide.

Aimee Song has been a fashion darling for years now, with an incredible presence on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Her blog Song of Style was the perfect platform to reach a like-minded audience, and allowed her to launch both a jewelry line – which you can buy on her site or through major retailers like Bloomingdale’s – and her own relaxed clothing line, Song of Style.

Perhaps not everybody’s cup of tea, but certainly enough to launch her own clothing line Are You Am I, Rumi Neely is one of the biggest blogger to brand successes to date. Her vision developed out of not being able to find the pieces that she really wanted to reflect her style, to naturally finding her way to creating her own.

Of course this is only a small list of all the bloggers that we mentioned. They are, however, great examples of developing an influential blogger persona and impeccable sense of style that translates well, hooks enough readers and generates enough interest on which to build their own brand. These success stories are not miraculous cases, but rather bloggers working very hard at their craft and never giving up on their visions and dreams.
