April 9th 2022, over 2 years after their previous tour ended, the Confetti Tour began in true Little Mix style in Belfast. There was fire, floating stages, confetti, outfit changes and – of course – iconic choreography. What more would you expect from Little Mix? Fast forward exactly 5 weeks later, it would be their final show as a group at the O2 arena, the last of 3 sold out shows in London. Not only did they sell out the O2 arena for their final show (for now), it was broadcasted across cinemas in the UK and to hundreds of thousands of fans all over the world.

Little Mix, although based in the UK, and unable to travel due to Covid restrictions, still got a strong fan base within and outside of the UK. Many fans flew in especially for the Confetti Tour from all over the world, most of which were seeing the girls for the first time after 10 years. Little Mix is so much more than three pop stars, they are relatable, they are just three normal girls in the spotlight. Ever since they graced our screens back in 2011, Little Mix has represented sisterhood, of which has translated over to their fans. They have allowed people to connect and to find life long bonds, all because of their music. Their songs such as Little Me, Secret Love Song and Strip, amongst many others have allowed people to realise they are not alone and given them the confidence to speak up.

Perrie, Jade & Leigh-Anne are so much more than just Little Mix, although they are proud to be a part of the biggest girl group in the world, they have each also spoken up on struggles they have faced, whilst being in the group. They continue to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness and breaking the stigma as-well as racial equality. Each girl has definitely made their mark individually within the pop world before the hiatus. It’s clear to see that whatever they all get up to during this hiatus, they will have a lot of success and lots of support from the millions of fans they’ve gained over the last 10 years.
And most importantly, we know they will be supporting each other with whatever solo endeavours they get up to. They closed their final show with an encore of their most recent, and final release Between Us. Ending their final performance with the lyrics ‘When the curtains close and all of the lights go down, safe to say I’ll stay I will always stick around,’ before a group hug and one final bow. This isn’t the end of Little Mix, it’s the end of one chapter and a new one is beginning for us all.
